Staples or Office Max would do better job than Walgreen.

Yes; Walgreen’s [generally] do a good job with their refills, & it is defiently worth the money / savings.

There are other chains who also do a good job, like Rapid Refill & Cartridge World, but they can not compete with Walgreen’s prices: $10.00 Black; $15.00 Color.

Have you ever considered refilling your own cartridges ?
I have been refilling my own for several months now; I have made some common “Rookie Mistakes”, & once, made quite a mess, However - - -

It is costing me ~ $1.00 each to refill my HP-21 Black [05 ml]& HP-22 Tri-color [05 ml].

It is costing me ~ $2.00 each to refill my HP-15 Black [25 ml]& HP-78 Tri-color [19 ml].

The capacity of your HP-92 Black is 05 ml; cost $14.99 from HP, & $14.98 from Wal-Mart.

The capacity of your HP-93 Tri-Color is 05 ml; cost $19.99 from HP, & $19.87 from Wal-mart.

* Note: 1 gallon {ink} =’s 3,784 ml’s.

When I first started refilling, I bought a small “Starter Kit” from Printer Ink Warehouse; included 2 syringes [needles],
40 ml “Pigmented”Black, 20 ml each for the 3 colors [Primary colors for printing = Yellow, Magneta, & Cyan], & instructions; this cost ~ $30.00. They also have a tech-assistance line; toll-free @ 866.465-7334.

Ink is cheaper to buy in volume; generally, there are 5 or 6 different sizes you can buy, from 20 ml to 1 gallon.

If you decide to start refilling your own cartridges, there are many websites to help get ya started; Search for “Inkjet Cartridge Refilling”; I will list three websites below.

The worst mistake I have made is “Overfilling”; Fill to ~ 80% of cartridge capacity - no more than 80%; this is especially important when refilling Tri-Color cartridges - Overfilling will result in “Cross-Contamination” - colors will not print the correct colors.

Good Luck,

Ken C.
