Water of Sparklets water delivery meets all federal and state standards and is sealed in a container and sold for human consumption. Some of it includes carbonation, which can occur naturally in the water to be added by the bottler. Flavors, extracts and essences - derived from spice or fruit – can be added to bottled water, but these additions must comprise less than 1 percent by weight of the final product. Beverages containing more than the 1-percent-by weight flavor limit are soft drinks, not bottled water. This water cannot contain sweeteners or additives (other than flavors, extracts or essences). It is calorie-free and sugar-free. In addition, most waters are sodium-free.
