According to CNet, the 46-inch Sony KDL-46XBR4 earns their highest ratings for quality.   This lcd tv model is the top TV that CNet has tested – though two negatives stand out:  high cost, and a picture found to be a bit inferior compared with plasma sets.  Another site – The Perfect Vision – tested LCD TVs; their ratings showed that the 47-inch Westinghouse TX-47F430S is a fine specimen in nearly all areas.  Another set of reviews found major raves for Sony’s KDL-40XBR4 unit.  These are just some of the LCD TV ratings that are available, however.  Find the LCD that suits your needs.
